Of course! You don’t need to own a horse to appreciate good design. While some brands may promote horse and country style as exclusive to the equestrian community we believe anyone can show appreciation for the raw power and beguiling beauty of the horse.

A horse bit is any design that fits into a horse’s mouth, while a snaffle bit is a particular type of horse bit. A horse bit in jewellery terms is the shape often most associated with the equestrian designs of brands like Gucci, while snaffle designs tend to be more minimalist.

While most of our equestrian collection is hand-cast from solid sterling silver, we also like to modernize our designs with accents and dee rings in earthy copper or 14ct gold plated silver. We also use gold-coloured brass to keep our prices accessible on our most popular equestrian jewellery styles.

There is a strong Charro (horse) culture in Mexico that influenced jewellery design long before brands like Gucci and Hermes adopted the equestrian horse bit into their jewellery designs. While it may not be as well known, Mexican equestrian jewellery design is authentic, with centuries of history.

Our jewellery is made naked – meaning no coating, plating, washing or manipulation of any kind, it’s just the pure metal. To maintain the shine on your jewellery keep it in air-tight packaging, clean regularly with a jewellery cleaning cloth and avoid getting in contact with chemicals like perfume, shampoo etc.

For orders received before 2pm we typically ship the same day (Mon-Fri), We use Royal Mail 48 as standard for UK orders and we also offer a UK next day special delivery option at check-out.
